The couple discussed their moving-related regrets on their youtube, while generally adoring the nation and their way of life there. Although many people might think that the parents regret living in such a way with a young child or that they miss having access to hot water and a toilet, neither of these things have been expressed by the pair.
One of the biggest obstacles, according to Jordan, is having to buy most items. "We get priced at a higher price because we are foreigners," he stated. "And this is everything from buying a car to buying property to taking a taxi to even buying fruit or food on the side of the road."
He continued: "Anytime a price isn't listed we basically have to have a Panamanian go and negotiate for us, [which] adds another level of complexity."
