Sustainable Interior: Range Rover
With the release of the Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover's ethical consumer enthusiasts now have an option to elevate their car interiors with non-leather vegan-friendly alternatives. The prestigious car firm offers an array of premium seat upholstery options made using sustainable materials such as wool-polyester blend and Eucalyptus Melange. The Eucalyptus Melange is a hybrid plant-based product that consists of 70% polyester and 30% tensile fibers. On the other hand, the wool-blend product is a combination of synthetic suede material and wool, produced using 53% recycled plastic bottles. This sustainable non-leather alternative was developed by Land Rover together with Europe’s leading textile company, Kvadrat. The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is said to be composed of up to 33 kg of recyclable and natural material. This premium SUV can be an excellent option for family-oriented and morally-responsible consumers as it can comfortably fit up to two top quality car seats.
