Kicking Horse Coffee is Fair Trade certified and organically grown. Fair Trade means better trading conditions and empowerment for farmers, as well as the promotion of practices, tools and training for farmers to have a more sustainable business. When coffee beans are organically grown, it means it is pure and pesticide free. The farms are also tested at random by independent auditors for pesticide and herbicide residuals, ensuring the coffee beans are up to standard.
