Plant based Plastic: Save our Planet

Plastic is one of the most dangerous materials that exist today. Apart from carbon, it's the leading material responsible for the death and decay of our planet. Scientists over the years have predicted that we can increase our planet's lifespan and liveability conditions if we can somehow get rid of plastic usage. However, that's easier said than done because plastics aren't biodegradable. Thus, comes the need for biodegradable plastic, which we can source from plants. Plant-based plastic products will decay when you bury them. Unlike regular plastic, plant-based or biodegradable ones will slowly break down and mix with the soil. This type of plastic is gaining popularity as different brands, coffee shops, and restaurants are switching to biodegradable plastic products.
