P&G Unveils New Strategy to Help Address Global Water Crisis

Water scarcity affects every continent on planet. While some people aren’t seeing its impact in their communities, others are facing extreme water stress. In fact, nearly one-third of people already live in water-stressed regions and two-thirds of the global population are projected to be by 2025. P&G is announcing a major expansion to our Ambition 2030 sustainability efforts across climate, nature, waste, and water that will include making more water available in water-stressed areas around the world. This extended effort includes a global portfolio of water restoration projects which will provide a range of solutions to protect ecosystems, replenish groundwater supplies, reduce the amount of water dived from essential bodies of water, and improve water quality for the communities and wildlife that depend on them.
