Naoto Fukasawa and MUJI create eco-friendly urban commuting gogoro electric scooters.

Both models feature simpler body designs and recyclable polypropylene body parts. The e-scooters were created by Fukasawa and use the classic MUJI design components, including an earthy color scheme, and philosophy to produce a simple and comfortable urban mobility experience. The colors used for the cars and accessories match the simple design of the company. A cozy grey palette pays respect to the attractiveness of urban environments, while a warm beige palette is inspired by the vivid hues of nature.

Both Gogoro and MUJI place a high priority on sustainability and share a commitment to protecting the environment. The two businesses worked together to launch the 'Recycling for Good' campaign in Taiwan in keeping with the World Environment Day theme of this year, #BeatPlasticPollution. By encouraging people in Taiwan to recycle polypropylene (PP) plastic waste at Gogoro and MUJI stores, this campaign hopes to inspire people to take little but significant steps toward a more sustainable future. Recovered polypropylene products are meticulously treated and changed through many phases, including screening, cutting, granulating, reshaping, and rejuvenation, as part of the Recycling for Good initiative. The body panels of the new Gogoro Smartscooters are then made from these recycled materials.
