In collaboration with the MotoGP manufacturers, new targets have been set to increase sustainability. “By 2024, the fuel of all MotoGP categories will have a minimum of 40% of non-fossil origin. By 2027, the fuel of all MotoGP categories will be 100% of non-fossil origin,” said Dorna, organizer of the World. MotoGP will be the platform on which these fuels will continue to be developed and tested, with each premier class manufacturer working with their supplier to develop their own fuel. The development of multi-fuels will ensure that technology and knowledge reach consumers’ motorcycles and street pumps in the future.
