International Coastal Cleanup Day falls on September 18 every year. This day is celebrated to encourge people to get rid of wastes and garbages collected in nearby beaches. To mark the International Coastal Cleanup Day 2021, various organizations are conducting various kinds of program. For example, Ocean Conservancy has organized a worldwide event with 50+ simultaneous (outdoor and socially-distanced) group shoreline cleanups with 3,000 volunteers.
