Honda Group, which includes all of the various Honda entities as a global company, has released the Honda Sustainability Report 2022 which collects all the details on what the house has done one year after the last report, as well as defining its own goals for the future. In the document published in 2021, a zero-emissions plan was specified that would cover all Honda vehicles by 2040, but to promote that goal, the house of the wing announced its intention to have 15% of motorcycle sales, the 30% of automobile sales and 36% of sales of electrical products as early as 2030. An arduous commitment, especially if we think of the current sales percentages in this sector: only 0.01% of the total sales of Honda Motorcycles (including scooters and E-bikes) was electric, while in the case of cars and micro electric mobility the percentage grew slightly, respectively 0.37% and 0.52%. Important news concerns the Power Pack, which is the interchangeable battery system that Honda is using in its fleet of commercial electric scooters: e, Benly: e, Gyro: ee Gyro Canopy: e. The Japanese company has announced that it is officially launching the own battery sharing service for Indian electric rickshaws, with charging stations to replace exhausted units. It is not said that this is not a first step to be able to export this concept of “refueling” in world of two-wheeled electric vehiclesthus solving the charging times.
