Co-founder and CEO of the denim companies DL1961 and Warp + Weft Denim is Sarah Ahmed. Warp & Weft was established in 2017 and offers a variety of sizes in contemporary styles for both men and women, all for less than $100. In order to produce the "most sustainable" denim possible, Warp + Weft sustainably obtains its cotton and using cutting-edge machinery and processes. The company also uses several solar panels to assist power activities at its plant and recycles, reuses, and returns as much clean water to the environment as it can.
We were actually selling a lot of denim. Due to the fact that we control our manufacturing, we were also in an excellent position for both our DTC and wholesale operations. We were able to be nimble and scale efficiency like never before even if the rest of the industry was experiencing supply chain delays.
