With its electric motorcycles, CSC has long been known for striking an appealing mix between price and performance. Because of this, CSC's bikes frequently cost thousands of dollars less than those of the competitors while still having excellent specifications and features. Here, it is also true. It performs reasonably similarly to a Zero FXE with a top speed of 80 mph (130 km/h), a city range of 112 miles (180 km), and a peak motor output of 18 kW (24 hp). However, the $13K Zero FXE is significantly more expensive than the $8.5K CSC RX1E.
To be fair, I had test-ridden one the previous year for a few hours in the Los Angeles foothills, having a blast as I carved canyons on the bike. Nevertheless, despite its daring appearance, this bike is really more of a hybrid commuter/street bike, so I knew it would be crucial to test it out in this capacity as well. Now that I've owned the bike for a few weeks, I can fully express my opinions about the CSC RX1E. You can also watch my video review below to learn more about my experience.
