Thus, Nepal has regularly raised the issue of climate change's effects in the Himalayas on international and regional platforms. Similarly, an ICIMOD study on the Hindu Kush Himalaya region, which spans 3,500 kilometers over Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan, has forecast an ominous future for a mountainous region like Nepal. Floods, heat waves, and droughts will be even more deadly if the temperature rises by 2 degrees Celsius. Nepal is no indifferent like other countries when it comes to climate change. Every year, Nepal is facing problems like a lengthy winter drought wreaked havoc causing massive wildfires and when the rains came, they came with exceptional severity. This problem gets worse every year causing destruction everywhere. The problem of climate change adds more burden to the country as there are problem of instable government, lowering economy and corruption in bureaucracy.
