The South Korean IT giant announced last year that it would utilize more renewable energy, invest in energy-efficient product manufacturing technology, and increase water reuse to attain net-zero emissions by the year 2050. At the press conference, Samsung mentioned, among other things, that it has decreased carbon emissions in the usage phase of its products by over 900,000 tons and that 31% of its activities have been powered by renewable energy since 2021.

According to the business, the mode's improved AI system on household appliances, including washing machines, refrigerators, and TVs, helps consumers save up to 70% of energy on certain cycles.
