A new children's clothing store will open in Corvallis on Saturday, August 5, just in time for back-to-school shopping. Treefort, located at the Sunset Shopping Center on Philomath Boulevard, will provide parents with environmentally friendly apparel, shoes, and accessories for babies to adolescents. Brittney Bryant grew up in a single-parent household, which meant there was rarely enough money for fashionable clothes. Bryant admitted that as a middle-schooler, she was frequently self-conscious about it. Years later, married with her own children and able to afford it, she described buying lovely clothing for her children as a great joy. However, in Corvallis, where her family relocated in 2019, it has been practically impossible to obtain children's clothing. "I think it's been a common complaint in the area that there simply aren't many choices nearby," Bryant said.
